Book Poor, Part 4
We like books. We have lots of books. So many, in fact, we decided not to pack them away when we relocated. We didn't even bring any kids' books to Athens. We knew we would buy books in Greece. Lots and lots of books.
Ahhhh, Tintin. We love The Adventures of Tintin! M ran to the Tintin shelf every time we visited our library at home. Both kids would page through the books for hours, giggling at Snowy(Milou) and at Captain Haddock. We had never read this episode in English, so getting a brand-new Tintin escapade was pretty exciting. We found this one at a bookstore.
Sadly there is a new Tintin movie coming out in a couple of days, which will throw our favorite obscure (at least in the States) comic book into the limelight. We're hoping that Tintin's new found popularity doesn't ruin him.
